BBQ and trail ride Sept. 09
On Sept. 12, 2009, John and Brenda Nathaniel hosted a trail ride and BBQ. Many folks from the bay area trailered over and camped out for the night then saddled up the next day for a wonderful ride around the subdivision. The weather added a special challenge as it began to lightening, thunder and rain as we started out on our hour and half ride. Upon returning to their ranch (Crosswinds Ranch) John had cooked up the best tasting chicken and pork ribs this side of New Orleans! It was a wonderful time had by all!

The Get Out & Ride & Hike Day was well attended by community members and guests. Many enjoyed riding and hiking the trails around Trailblazers Park (Horse Camp). Upon returning to the park, we enjoyed John Nathaniel's very tasty hot dogs. Thank you to those who attended and helped out. We look forward to doing it again next year.
